Fiddler's Campground & Market

Great little convenience store and cafe right outside Ragland Bottom Campground! We were staying in Ragland for four days and saw they had Hunts Brothers pizza, which we love. We stopped in one day and grabbed a pizza. The staff is super friendly, the store is clean, there's lots of stuff you might need if you're camping at the lake. The cafe serves food starting with breakfast and I think the kitchen closes at like 6:30. Check that. But the burgers we saw some guys eating looked legit and our pizza was great. Went there this morning and grabbed a breakfast sandwich to take back to camp and it was really good too. Got a bag of ice as well.

Absolutely great place! Food is just awesome, especially the reeses overload cake. The ice cream hits the spot on those hot days and keeps the kids happy. There is a slushie/ snow cone trailer outside with some good flavors. The store has so many items that you can find almost you want in there(and many things that you may not need but are really cool). The owner and all employees are just the nicest people! I highly recommend stopping here for all your needs before you hit the lake or the many trails....or for any reason.

This store is not American owned or managed as advertised. Show me one rocking chair or one musical instrument for locals to pick up and play. The campgrounds are no longer in pristine condition. Bathrooms are rarely cleaned, in the store. The owners have zero interest in the locals. The food is fantastic until they finally over work their one remaining "long time" employee. This establishment was known for its kind atmosphere, the laughter of locals and togetherness as we broke bread. It is now the same as any other convenience store, cbd, paraphenelia and a foreign "hi". We miss you Fiddlers. Nikki and Mickey you are missed. Take it back.

Awesome tenderloin and biscuits in the morning. They also have sausage, chicken bacon and they have a menu of breakfast plates and lunch and dinner. So Come on down and try them out. 😀
