Timber Lodge

Very rustic and old, more like a hostel. Great for youth groups wanting to hike and explore the nearby river and creek. Also quaint place for family gatherings with lots of setting in a hall

Great place to stay for large family or small groups. Immaculately clean. Great service. Lodge has 4 enormous bunk rooms, big bathrooms with showers, huge industrial kitchen with everything you need and a game room and huge gathering dining room. Lots of room outdoor for pick up football or games and a fire pit. There are also cabins to rent and gorgeous primitive campgrounds at Troublesome Hollow with a natural spring. Very near the Current river and Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

Wonderful place! My family has all our family gatherings here. That's normally around 6-8 times a year. I do hope that someone can be caretakers of this business and not have multiple hands. It's starting to need some attention.

A very good place to stay. It is regularly cleaned before and after each visit and very fairly priced. It is owned by the United Church of Christ and I know the manager personally; he is a very good guy! Not to mention the manager (care taker) is also the preist and care taker at Shannondale Church. You will not be disappointed from your visit!

It's a great place to gather with plenty of space. The country is beautiful and lots of natural sites less than an hour or so away
