Pinecrest Campground & Cabins

My wife and I decided to get married at a campground, so we started looking at campgrounds. At least 10 in multiple areas. We decided to go with a Campground that didn't have all of the beautiful landscapes as others. We decided on this Campground because it had multiple cabins. The beautiful couple that owns the campground took us on a side by side to show us a few options they had for the wedding on nearby properties they owned. We then realized that not only did they have the cabins, they also had the most beautiful pond with plenty of parking. Then we looked at the huge gazebo that has bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, a DJ system and plenty of tables and chairs. Ethan and Marie, the owners, make this camp one of the nicest, most friendly campgrounds I've stayed in. I was there last year with my son and his family and we're going back in a couple of weeks. It's a great place for the grandkids with a playground that's centrally located and nice camp sites. The other guests, mostly horse folks, were friendly and very pleasant to talk with as well. We don't have horses but enjoyed seeing and visiting with those that did. I brought my ATV and we all enjoyed the horse trails around the camp on it. The shower and restroom facilities were clean and the camp store rounded out the very pleasant experience. I'm definitely looking forward to our next visit.

This is our favorite campground. Minutes from Montauk State Park and floating outfitters. We stayed in a full hook up site but they also have basic sites, cabins, and a house you can rent. The campground was clean and beautiful. We were there during a special event and the entire campground met at the pavilion for a potluck dinner, dancing, and music! You don’t want to miss the sunset either.

Pinecrest Campground and Cabins in Salem, MO, is an absolute gem! The owners, a wonderful couple, make you feel right at home with their warm hospitality. They went above and beyond by hosting a delicious fish fry one weekend, which was a highlight of our stay—great food and great company! The campground is peaceful and well-maintained, with spotless bathrooms and convenient amenities like laundry facilities, a pavilion, and even ice available on-site. Oh, and did I mention the bathrooms and showers are air-conditioned with piped-in music? So cool! Families will love the playground for kids, which kept our little ones entertained. I haven't been in the cabins but I've camped here and it's awesome. Miles of trails for walking, horseback riding, jeeping - whatever your version of a nature walk is! Facilities are clean and cozy, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the grounds are clean. If you're not into trails but like trout fishing, the location puts you close to some of the best you'll find.
