Jason Place Campground

Has potential… Not sure if we just came early in the year but this place needs a little work. We came in early June. The pool was down. Understandable but was not given a heads up and was a little disappointed.. Bathrooms needed some work for sure! Theres some random buildings full of trash and stuff. Place just looks ran down. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I hope they make a turn around because it definitely has potential. Sorry to leave not the nicest review. Just dont want anyone to be disappointed.. Just know what your in for..

This place is awesome! We’ve been camping here and staying in the cabins for years. The cabins are rustic, but A/C in all the cabins. We also tent camp in this huge campground. The main shower/bath house is getting better every year. Management is always making improvements, including a brand new shower/bath house in Happy Hollow. The folks that run this place are eager to please, so if you have an issue just ask. They do whatever it takes to make your stay better. I can’t wait for our next camping trip to this place!

Definitely do not recommend, highly unorganized and rude. Seems to be some sort of ownership change that has not gone over well. Definitely do not stay in any cabin near this place. They were missing windows, had exposed electrical wiring , closed off the basement , probably due to the mold, mouse droppings in the cabinet drawers, 1 of the 3 window units actually worked. Fridge was good though! In my opinion the best thing is to just close this place. Complete rip off. 1200.00 for staying 2 evenings and floating 2 rafts 2 days. I personally would be embarrassed to be associated with providing people with this experience.

We have been going to Jason's Place Campground for well over 30 years. As it started to get a little run down, we still continued to support them, because they continued to provide awesome service and were always friendly! NOW, they "kids" have taken over and they are doing an amazing job of bringing it back to life. Again with the same great service and friendly staff. I highly recommend giving them a chance!!

We spend at least three weekends a year here. This year there are so many inprovements! The General Store looks amazing!! As do the bath and shower houses'. There are small projects going on all over the campground. The new roof on Josh's cabin is beautiful. ||||Don't let past reviews scare you away. The nicest people run the place and will make sure you have everything you need. It's an older property and if the trees could talk about the memories of Jason's Place in its glory days- those would be some stories! Give them a chance! They are definitely a diamond in the rough.
