Tidewater Motel

The room was ok but the service was absolutely trash and the people who run it isn't better they don't check on the people who stay there and they are rude hostile towards their guest they also bump the rent of the room for no reason we we went from paying 450 to 550 in a weeks and when we tried to check out they were basically trying to force my fiance to pay in my honest option the place needs to be shut down

This was definitely not the best motel, especially for the $60 it costed, but I was at least satisfied with the cleanliness of the bed. The sheets were definitely clean. I checked the mattress and it was clean with no sign of bed bugs. I did see a hair or two INSIDE the pillowcase, but at least the case was clean and no hairs on the sheets. Toilet was clean but the shower looked a little sketchy. It might have just been stained, but I wouldn't shower in it without shower shoes. It was pretty old. The bathroom had some weird window that was boarded up and painted over. I wouldn't recommend that anyone seek this place out to stay at, but if you are traveling and just need to stop and rest for a night, it's decent enough.

Rooms have roaches. They are not clean! If you lose your room key, they charge a few of $20. They are not friendly people. One of the worst motels out there. But it's the cheapest also.

I stay in this motel and nice rooms and they renovate room and so nice and bathrooms is clean .

This place was a night mare me and my grandbabies went to stay for the weekend back in January 2024 very very disgusting I stayed 1 night only bc had nowhere else to go. Called a friend to pick us up the very next morning as early as she could. The room had no heat...roaches...paint peeling everywhere and I did take pics. The staff very rude the bathroom was gross had to have manager come fix tv so we could watch. Beds very uncomfortable sunk in the middle like a V No wifi Nothing like they advertise
