My wife and I drove to Eureka Springs this weekend on a spur of the moment deal to see the Great Passion Play. Alas when we arrived in town we found there was a Biker rally going and the city was covered in Bikers. Nothing against them as every one of them I dealt with were always friendly and polite. Only issue was just about every hotel in town was sold out with no vacancies. You could find one here and there with a room available, but due to it being Bike week they had their prices jacked up to a ridiculous rate of $140-150+ per night. And I don't mean fancy hotels like the Holiday Inn or Best Westerns. Even the normally cheap hotels got in on the act. ||||But Thurman Lodge did not play that game. They had several vacancies and I was able to get a room on the main level with a comforta

At a value price, we've never expected much from this place but it has always been sufficient for our family's needs which is why we've always come back. This time it looks like they've completely just given up on the place though. The sidewalks and stairwell is beginning to look like a scrap yard with broken room furniture and equipment laying around. Even the check in lobby is cluttered, messy and unwelcoming. We were given an upstairs room with old shaggy carpet and two beds that felt like sleeping on a stack of cardboard. Everything just felt uncomfortable, unclean and un kept. Unfortunately this will be our last visit here after many years of return visits.

Bed's were way too soft. No microwave in the room. Roaches as well. What is normally a $59 room was jacked up to $90 for bikes blue's and bbq. We will never stay here again.

I booked two days here but only stayed one because I got bed bugs. Unfortunately i did not see them when i got there but the next morning while doing yoga i saw several large adults crawling across the floor. The motel did refund me the price of the night I didn't stay, but not the night when I got all bitten and infested, so basically I spent $70 to get bed bugs. Now I'm at a laundromat washing all my clothes on hot while stressing out about what do do with things I can't wash, like my purse. I had to throw away my favorite pillow that I brought from home and my yoga mat. Moral of the story: bed bugs suck, I'm stressed out, $70 poorer, and don't stay here.

Definitely not a 5 star but we had very little issues with our room. We was a little leery with some of the reviews and by the way it looked from the outside. We picked a busy weekend to go not knowing there was a motorcycle event going on. So it was hard to find a place to stay. But decided to go ahead and give it a try. We stayed in a king size jacuzzi room. Everything seemed to be cleaned. No bugs. Had HOT water. Bed was not the greatest to sleep on. But we enjoyed staying there. We have stayed at worse.
