Thousand Trails Timothy Lake South

We had a great stay at Timothy Lake South in our travel trailer. Our site was clean and level. We had a full hook up sites and hook-ups worked great. The shower house was sparkling clean and the showers were powerful and hot. There is so much to explore in this area! We will definitely be back.

We stayed a both east Stroudsburg locations. Michelle the manager was so helpful. We had to move sites at the end ofnour stay because we extended our stay. The site was just as oerfectnas the first. The only thing that was sketchy was the cell service. Other than that our stay was perfect. The bathouses and showers were amazing andnthe grounds safe and beautiful. We will come back again

Timothy Lake South remains one of my favorite getaways. The campground is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful escape while still being conveniently close to all the attractions in the Poconos. While I’m not a fan of the assigned site policy, I truly appreciate the staff’s flexibility and willingness to help me find a good spot among the limited number of member sites now available. Their effort to accommodate has made all the difference and has made my recent stays at the campground very enjoyable. Thank you.

Yer basic Thousand Trails campground. No problems with this one. 😁 Lots of beautiful trees in the fall. (well the trees are always there, but they have nice color in autumn. 🍂 🍁 🍂 ) Plenty of good RV sites. The majority seem to be occupied by annual/ permanent residence. I believe all the sites are full hook up with water, sewer, and electricity. Staff were helpful and friendly. Roads are paved with potholes, RV sites are gravel. Pool is only open June - August. Restrooms were clean and decent. Cell signal 📶 with ATT was weak. No decent WiFi - bring your own Starlink. Noise was minimal in October 2025. Neighbors were absent or quiet. You’re a mile or two from the main roadway. It’s a windy trip into town and stores. Not close, but not too far.

Nice, quiet park in the Poconos, pretty close to most stuff- about 15-20 min. Has to be very careful of the very, very large potholes when driving and walking-they were on all the main roads. Staff was very friendly and helped us find a different site, as we needed a starlink friendly site. Bathrooms and dog waste stations not stocked well, but nice park overall.
