Thousand Trails Little Diamond is a beautiful park set in the trees. The property and pool are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was in pull-through site 117 and it was easy to access. The 30 amp power and water (no sewer) hookups are on the wrong side of the site but not a big deal. Plenty of things to do in the park and the surrounding areas. There are minimal area lights making it dark at night, with great views of the stars. I would definitely come again!

You definitely see the difference in the KOA to the 1000 trails side which does not get the same care and attention. Most of the campsites have the power and water on the wrong side people would drive into the campsie however we are a 5th wheel and that is impossible to do. Only about 7 or 8 sites we could get into. The one assigned to us was fine once we figures out how to turn around to back in the right way. States there is Jabba (pay) wifi which we were planning to use to work however that is only in the KOA side with about 10 sites if that on the 1000 trails side that had access, we did not which was very frustrating.

The review is NOT reflective of the campground itself. Little Diamond is a wonderful campground with great staff. The 1 star is for their site assignment system. It assigns sites like a lottery. You have no say where you end up and if you are going with friends or family, they are assigned random as well so they could be anywhere. It was a huge mistake to begin doing assignments this way. They need to fix the system to WE can choose our spot when we make the reservation. Till then, I highly recommend going elsewhere to camp.

I have been a Thousand Trails member for 25 years and on the whole I have enjoyed their campgrounds, even this one in 1999. When I recently arrived, I noticed KOA branding stands out and Thousand Trails is more subdued. Then at check in, I learned they now assign sites...the one assigned to me was barely a parking spot size, with facilities at the very front of the site and NOT on the facilities side of my RV forcing me to pull in forward but then my power cord would not reach the plug unless the back of my rv was literally at the edge of the site. Fortunately I got moved but the facilities were still on the wrong side but the site was wider allowing me to manipulate parking angle for power cord reach. I had to dig through weeds 2 over a foot tall to find water spigot. All TTN side s

We love little diamond thousand trails so this review has nothing to do with the resort but the corporation. Thousand trails went to a mandatory reservation system which is extremely flawed. It does not allow you to choose your spot nor does it allow family or friends to camp near each other. Their system is horrible and needs to be changed. If you are going to have a reservation system, at least let members reserve their own site. That way we can choose the location and more important, a site close to one another so you can camp near friends and family. Until now, I would have highly recommended thousand trails. Now unfortunately, I would not recommend anyone purchase a membership until they fix this extremely flawed reservation system.
