Customer Reviews
This little, 20-site RV park is relatively new, and the town did quite a nice job building it. All sites are pull-thru, and most any rig set up will fit in the space. Each has full hook-ups. For the price ($40 a night), that is quite a bargain. This area is a sportsman's paradise, yet there was a lack of campgrounds that weren't private clubs, or expensive state parks on the Idaho side. Bathroom/showers are in great shape, and all have a code lock to keep them just for paying campers. Hosts were nice when we met them on arrival, and with it's suburban location, the grounds were surprisingly very quiet at night. It's nice to finally have a good place to base camp at in this area...
Great little RV park. We came in late and the host greeted us and was super friendly. Each spot has power/water/sewer. Everything was new and super clean. If you need a place to park for the night, this is a great option. Reservation and payment needs to be done through the Newport City website.
ENTRANCE is on the northeast side. Turn in off of 1st Street. This place is simple and well maintained. Each site has 50/30/15 amps as well as water and sewer. There is also a general sewer dump on south west side. Not much patio space. Bathrooms are basic. Showers are like those at a rec center.
My husband and I stayed at this RV Park Sept 7th thru the 11th. 2023. It was very nice with big drive thru sites. Restrooms and showers were spotless. It was quiet and clean and had friendly camp hosts. The only downside was absolutely no internet. It is advertised with internet at every site but it was very weak and would go off and on.The cell tower is located away from the RV spots and has only one. This would be a perfect camp ground if the internet was fixed. Hopefully when we come back internet wont be a problem . Also should throw in that the price is great at only $40 a night with full hookups.
