Thousand Trails Colorado River

Great park. We Love to come to this park , we've been hear so many times and each time is out standing, This time in particular is even nicer, The park has really cleaned up the grass around the lower camp sites and also the hiking trails. I wish the hot tub was warmer and the pool heated. The Manager and employees are great as always.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Thousand Trails Colorado River. The staff is great they greeted me with a smile and always want to make sure your stay is memorable. They have daily activities like water aerobics, card games, potlucks. It really has a warm and welcoming vibe. The property is well maintained. I love the deer, butterflies, birds of all kinds, wild flowers and pecan trees all over the property. I enjoy kayaking and I can launch right from their boat ramp. ||I really enjoy my stays Thank you all

Our initial camping experience at TT Colorado River was so great that we signed up for an annual campsite. We just renewed for a second year.||||Great manager and office staff, wonderful grounds crew, and all of the amenities anyone would want...basketball court, tennis court, mini golf through the beautiful pecan trees, deer everywhere (do not feed or disturb, please!) and lots of happy campers. Lots to do, including games, pool activities, church services and Bible study, an activity center and director, and a staff that is on site and available to help.||||Public areas are clean and well tended. ||||We love it here! Close to home with a totally different and quiet experience.

Staff, visitors and annuals are all some of the nicest, REAL and genuine people I have ever been blessed to meet. They have a pool and a gym. They have water aerobics and activities daily. They are also pet friendly. I feel extremely fortunate to have found this campground and community. Thank you all!

This used to be one of our favorite campgrounds. It’s beautiful. However, we arrived and I asked for an accessible site. They’re all reserved for months. You have to call now, which they refused to allow in the past. I keep seeing rigs parked in them with no placard or tags designating they need the spot. It is infuriating to watch them just give them away to people who don’t need them. Is it really that hard to ask if they have a placard? My chair hates gravel. Where am I? In the gravel. Meanwhile people are dancing jigs in the ones intended for people with mobility challenges. Thousand Trails needs to fix this at the corporate level. ||The bathrooms are nowhere near as clean and well taken care of as they used to be. All in all a downgrade from years past.
