Thompson's Motel Inc

The motel was just as described. One of cleanest I have ever been in and truly appreciated that. Great hot water in shower, bare bones in room. Office does open late and close early if you are used to more urban time. Coffee within walking distance. They accommodated my 92 year old mom, put us in a non-pet-friendly room as requested and no steps. Phone receptionist was top-notch in kindness. That goes a long way for us.

This is Mountain Springs Motel now. It’s been recently renovated by the new owner. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the fixtures all worked. It was a very nice stay for an affordable price. I recommend

Great stay! I don't get one working until 1 am and the staff were super nice about accommodating that and letting me know where to find my room key. The beds were cozy and the room was very neat and tidy. I love the outdoor seating area! It's also within walking distance of the local stores.

This is the first negative review I've ever left for a lodging before. After reading other's positive reviews, I was looking forward to our trip. I'm well aware that motels are very simple. I was not expecting anything fancy. I did however expect the room to honor what the ad about the motel said. This one did not. In addition, communication from the motel staff to me, as the customer was nonexistent. I arrived around 5 pm on Saturday in the pouring rain. The front desk lady was standing at the side door, so I went through that door with her to check in. She was about to leave and stated they now closed at 5 on weekends, so she thought we weren't coming. I apologized and explained that I had not been told that. I'd only been told to notify them if we were going to be arriving after 8 pm.

I stayed here a few times when it was Thompsons and the updates that were done are great. For a small town motel it is great,very friendly staff,clean rooms with comfortable clean beds which seemed new as well and nice appliances(mini fridge and microwave) floors are new laminate planks, smart TV,cable and free wifi. I would definitely say to stay here if you are in town.
