Mountain Springs Motel & Apartments

I've stayed here multiple times for various hiking trips and plan to continue when I travel to the area. The motel is conveniently located between the Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob (back country) areas. It is very clean and comfortable. There are also dog-friendly accommodations available. There is a refrigerator and microwave, which is great as fast dining options are limited in the area. The best parts are that it's really cost effective and seems to be quite safe! I would happily recommend this motel to others looking for simple and comfortable accommodations.

This place has been my home for the last few months and will be until spring time. Great rooms and hotel staff. Great housekeeping. WiFi is good at times but spotty in some rooms.

I am always hesitant to stay in motels due to my allergies. I had no issues at all staying at Mountain Springs! The room was clean and no strange odors at all!! Certainly not fancy, but is wonderful nonetheless!!! Check in was quick & easy.

This is one of the least expensive hotels I've ever stayed at, but it was clean and you got more than you paid for. The owners were nice and let us do late check-in.

When I checked in I discovered I booked the wrong day! Luckily Anabel was able to change my reservation and I had a place to stay. She was so sweet and took the time to talk with us while she got us our room key. The location is in the middle of nowhere and the town seemed empty on a Saturday afternoon. Got dinner on the way to Spruce Knob at Gateway after Annabel's recommendation and it was great too. It's rare to get a good rate on a room and not have any issues.
