The Woodshed Lodge

We had an amazing four-night stay here. The rooms and the entire lodge are incredibly cozy and welcoming, with a truly homey feel. The breakfast spread is extensive and thoughtfully accommodates a variety of dietary needs. The location is perfect, just five minutes from Jay Peak. The owners and innkeeper were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. I could go on and on. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip.

What a great place to stay. I have been doing full house str's for a while and this surpassed my expectations for a bed & breakfast when traveling with kids. The Woodshed Lodge is more accessible and pocketbook friendly, with no booking or cleaning fee's when I booked through their site. The place is rustic, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to the diningroom with the wood stove, there are two other living rooms to relax in. Rooms were as advertised, very clean and well kept. And the innkeepers were great, super nice and put out a great breakfast (which is included in the room rate). I had to switch rooms because of a last minute extension of my stay and Kalie made the experience so easy with the addition of a cot for one of the kids. Best for me, it was quiet pretty much a

Haven’t stayed here before, recommended by my father in law from word of mouth from friends. New owners, they told us they had just purchased the property a week prior. Stayed their opening weekend, 11/28/11/29. Very friendly staff, building was very clean including rooms and common spaces. Breakfast included, supper upon request for additional charge, all food was delicious. Only thing we would recommended for the building is a set menu of options for supper. Hot tub was perfect temp and clean. Common area also had games/books/tv for all ages. 6 min drive in good weather to Jay peak for skiing/snowboarding/other attractions. Overall great stay. Great family/friendly atmosphere, will be back again.

We’ve stayed at the Woodshed twice since Dec 2025, and both stays have been lovely and very comfortable. Kayli, the innkeeper, is really accommodating & makes a delicious Vermontinental breakfast spread, and Oliver the house cat is so sweet. The location to the mountain can’t be beat, the vibes are so homey and warm, and the food is yummy! We will be making another trip :)

The rooms are…lodgey…but that’s what you knew you were getting. Price is reasonable. Expectations met. Hot tub is nice after skiing. The “Vermontinental” did not disappoint. Oliver, the lodge cat, is as fine a cat as you’ll meet. 10/10 would stay here again
