Another great ski trip in the books! It was my first time to Jay Peak and it was wonderful. They had a nice variety of terrain, tons of on site lodging options and non skiing family friendly activities. Overall, the terrain was a little more advanced but had a few short trails for beginners. Several long blue runs and a few groomed black runs in addition to many more difficult mogul black runs. Lots of glades areas if that is your cup of tea. The resort was big enough that you had plenty to explore for a few days and also if you went with a group it wasn’t so huge that it was impossible to meet up or find friends if you took an accidental detour. We opted for a package and it was reasonable. We chose to stay at the golf cottages which were perfect for our group, and could get around the r
We stayed at Hotel Jay for 2 nights mid-week the first week of January 2026. We booked the hotel / waterpark pass package since we had our Indy Pass for skiing. ||Arrival and check in went fine. We booked a King room and were assigned room 344. It’s pretty far down the 3rd floor with a view overlooking the Raman outfit and the firepit. The room itself was pretty bare-bones ok, but I do have some issues with it.|| There was hardware on the walls where artwork or a mirror should have hung but nothing was there. Also, there was evidence of what should have been privacy sheers on the windows but again missing. Not great. Also, no mini-fridge which is a pretty standard hotel room item. ||I get that this room was part of a lock-out room attached to the larger portion of an extended entire sui
Booked in June. Couldn't have been much better. We got the 2 bedroom condo ski and stay package for 4 nights. All employees were super helpful and friendly. The ski area and common areas were well taken care of. The resort got about a foot of fresh snow right before we arrived. The poutine at the foundry pub was the best I've ever had. burgers were delicious there as well. Mountain Dicks pizza was very good too. Funny name good pizza. Only one complaint. The shuttle took 45 minutes to arrive at Stateside. All other shuttles were very quick and on time. I would love to come back someday!!!
Really nice experience at Jay peak. I was a bit nervous because of some negative reviews but our experience was Great! The unit was very clean, really nice setup! We had everything we needed. Staff was personable and professional. When we needed something for our unit they delivered in 15 minutes. Staff at lifts were really nice and helpful. Went to a few restaurants and they were really good. Again, staff was so nice. It was a great experience overall!
Positive: 3 floors with a bedroom on the top floor and a bedroom on the bottom floor, giving us nice privacy. There was a large refrigerator & 4-burner gas stove allowing us to save $ by eating in the Condo. Walking distance from the Water Park and skiing. Negative: I needed a separate key for the fitness room.
