The Winterset Suites

Had to find a place last-minute because the hotel I originally booked at didn't have my reservation. |Was able to snag this little gem a few blocks away and was pleasantly surprised. |My room was clean and relatively quiet. The pool and hot tub were spotless and fully functioning. The courtyard was very private and well kept.|Front desk staff was friendly every time I stopped in for something. Pool towels were fluffy and new! |Easy access to the beach and cute restaurants. Was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. As a single woman, I felt safe even walking the neighborhood at night. ||I'd happily stay here again.

Positive: Big, clean room. Great location just a few min walk from beach. Staff were friendly. Negative: Tried to do early check in but was told there was a $40 fee for early check in.

Positive first: I will say being so close to the beach is nice and the pools are nice Negative: not gonna lie it may be nice being close to the beach but if it’s for vaca save up your money and go somewhere else. I don’t normally complain but we’re a young couple from far away and it’s genuinely really creepy. At first it just kind of seemed like a run down place but after a bit we realized it’s just not take care of at all. The bathroom wasn’t swept. Everything is stained, i mean the curtains, the sheets, even the chairs looked gross. We didn’t dare touch anything. The sheets made us really itchy. I did check for bed bugs and didn’t see any so that’s a win! The walls are super thin so we did hear people having arguments outside and came back to police at the building after going to dinner

Excellent place to stay. The staff was attentive and polite, close to shops and the beach. I really appreciated the late check-out with my later flight. The pool, hottub and grounds were beautiful, absolutely staying here again. Room was immaculate with plenty of towels and privacy. Thank you!

What a disaster this hotel turned out to be. From the added fees to the dirty rooms. Nothing seems as advertised. T.Vs with no remote. Nobody at the front desk when you need to see them. The deadbolt didn't lock. Bed sheet was sized completely wrong. I was charged an additional 10.00 per night to park my car there. I guess that most customers just walk to Ft Lauderdale? I did enjoy looking at the stains on the wall, as if they were a psychological test..... But they were close to the beach. That's the only positive review I will leave
