THE WINEMAKER'S SUITE

Great stay about a mile from downtown Walla Walla in a very pleasant, quiet and walkable neighborhood (the easy walk to and from downtown was just what our car-cramped legs needed after a day of driving). The space is the second floor of host Joel’s home and consists of a sitting room with desk, TV, couch and complimentary bottle of wine (Joel’s a winemaker), a bedroom with its own TV and a very comfy bed (I slept like a log and usually wake up multiple times through the night when in a “foreign” bed), and a fairly large bath with tub and lots of counter space and amenities. As an added bonus, the backyard offers a nice retreat with table and chairs, large outdoor couch and fire pit. Oh, and Joel is very gracious and a great guide to the area.
