The White House Inn

Im staying here right now for aquick ski weekend getaway with my college agr son and my friend who just completed her military service. First time staying here and i am absolutely i love with this hotel. It has a sophisticated charm to it, spotless, the decor is beautiful, beds comfortable, towels and toiletries are great, we are staying in junior king suite and it has plenty of space. The service and everyone that works here ate so welcoming and helpful, food and drinks are top notch and we had a short conversation with Mike last night who was bartending, such a class act. I will definitely recommend and come stay here again.

I spent a lovely night at the White House Inn with my daughter and my sister to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. It was our 3rd time staying at the Inn. It is such a beautiful, historic place in a beautiful setting with very friendly staff. We felt right at home. It is clean, the beds are super comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully updated. The fireplaces and sitting rooms are so cozy. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a girls getaway.

WHERE DO I START??? With the drunk obnoxious owner and her boyfriend, the horrible wait time for dinner, the food that was completely inconsistent, staff that were over whelmed and had zero training on how to properly handle complaints or issues, a hallway with broken stairs, or the outright crap service in the hotel and restaurant!! ||And that’s the light side! The thing that upset us the most is we waited forever to be seated then waited even longer for our food. Both nights the dishes were cold and completely different in appearance and taste! So I heard the staff talking about the owner, who was at the bar drinking all night. When I went over to tell her and her companion about the issues she was so drunk she was slurring her words!! The White House House Inn was awesome! The room was spacious but cozy- perfect for a family of 4. We LOVED our dinner experience at Clara’s as the food was delicious. Maybe our favorite part of the experience was “Speak Easy” room downstairs where we hung by the fire, sang karaoke, and played pool. High recommend to others that are looking for a great place near Mt. Snow

Charming cozy beautiful inn sitting on top of the Hill. Ever since I was a little girl I remember seeing this inn when driving to the flea markets and up to Wilmington with my family and it always intrigued me. I love an hour south so it was not a far get away. My husband and I went up for a quick one night away to celebrate his birthday. The staff was friendly upon arrival. Grounds and inn itself were very well kept. ||We started the day off hiking at the Molly Stark Park. Quick 5 min drive away. They have massages on site but for couples the place that does it you need to go to their main location as the space they have there isn’t big enough, do highly recommend Serendipity Massage!!!||We had dinner right at Clara’s beautiful space and great bar area but the food was subpar.
