The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

The service at the pool was exceptional! Shanique took care of all lunch and beverage needs throughout our stay and we appreciate the personal connection! Thank you!! Malva at the front desk was a beacon of grace and kindness. The Westin Corporation is so lucky to have both of them. The beds were wonderful. The hotel is under a much needed renovation in the hotel rooms and hallways. We could not get our sliding glass door open it was in need of repair. Room 1432. Housekeeping was outstanding! The portions of the hotel that have been renovated were beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel with beach access, Starbucks and outstanding service! Thank you Kim

The hotel has a great location and nice facilities. Everything was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff and pool attendants were all very friendly and helpful. Pool towels and umbrellas are provided for free, while beach umbrellas cost $30 but can be used from morning until 5 p.m. Beach chairs are free.Overall, the hotel offers good value for money — the Wi-Fi is fast, and the environment is quiet and tidy. The only downside is that the bottled water in the room costs $7 each. I didn’t notice the label at first and ended up drinking several bottles of water before realizing it. Also, the mini-fridge in my room seemed to be leaking a bit.

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff (Melva and David specifically) went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful with everything we needed. We were in a bit of a stressful situation before arriving, and they made the entire process smooth and reassuring. The level of hospitality and care we received truly stood out. It made such a difference for our stay. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really sets this place apart is the people. Their willingness to help and accommodate us meant so much. We’re very grateful for Melva and David’s help and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Pedro runs the pool area and he is absolutely the best! He is quick to help with the umbrella set ups and take downs and is so friendly. We are so glad he made our pool experience a five star!!! Daniel was an excellent server in Tinto! We have always sworn we would NEVER eat Mexican food in the US outside of Texas, but the guacamole & bacon was delicious! And the fajitas were very good, too! This was a great stay, but they need more plugs in the room and hot water before 7 am

Beautiful hotel. Very lovely. My favorite person was Jocelyn he was very nice and handled our luggage. He smiled and was very informative for info we might need. He would hold the door when we left or came in. There was a small line maybe 3 people ahead of us at the counter and he asked could he help us with anything and we were just trying to get cups for more margaritas the hotel gives you complimentary and he went and got us some and helped us with no problem. The hotel is big and sits right on the beach. The rooms looked very vintage with shutter door to the bathroom and bathroom window. Overall lovely
