The Vine on Main

I got into my room around 8pm. About every 3-4 mins I hear a rolling slamming sound. It sounds like “someone” is sliding slamming the door all night. (I stayed in room #8) I can hear people turning on/off the shower or water faucet. I somewhat slept. Besides that constant noise, there were some dead ants on the bed cover when I came in. These dead bugs need to be vacuumed up under the bed. Positive: the furnitures and bathroom looks nice, new and clean.

We had issues with the keypad, someone either tried to come in or it just started beeping by itself in the middle of the night. Should have an option to deadbolt it from the inside for additional safety. I put wifi on my laptop to answer emails and got a sketchy pop-up from McAfee alerting me to a possible hack so DO NOT trust their wifi! There was hair on the shower wall so clearly no one washed the bathroom in between check-ins. The shower overall is seeing wear and tear and could use a fresh coat of paint. They warn you about the fire department noise but holy heck is it louder then you expect it to be, will definitely wake you up! Beware, this is a self check in hotel and if you have any issues getting into your room as I did no one is there to help you. There is no local phone number for help. The number for the help listed in there site is an international +57 country code which is in columbia. My cell cannot make or receive or calls internationally so I could not resolve directly. I tried to have the booking agent (Priceline) help me but they kept me on the phone for 2 hrs but they were not helpful and repeated that they could not guarantee I would be refunded for cancellation. Even though I could not get into the room. I eventually gave up and drove an extra hour out of my way to another hotel. Very nice place to stay. My room is clean and updated. Feels like a modern log cabin inside. Easy self check-in allowed me to access my room late even though I arrived around 11pm. It's located in a nice quiet town with a cafe a 5 min walk away and a few shops. The wifi works great. There's high water pressure. Bathroom is very clean. Heater worked well. I have nothing negative to say. I'm very happy with my stay here.

Beautiful room, very charming, cozy, clean and super quiet. Everything that you need is there! I loved the expresso machine! I was very impressed with convenience and easy access to the room. I received via email all the instructions. We were attending a wedding at Stone Tavern Farm, 25 min away! Very very happy with The Vine on Main 🫶 Thank you so much!
