The Vic by Kasa

Very nice, completely updated and very clean! Beds were comfortable. It was quiet and very well maintained. Room was well stocked with towels. WiFi was great. Bonus that we were able to bring our small dog.

Best deal in TC! A seemingly brand-new hotel, The Vic was very clean with modern decor. Self Check-in was a breeze. Rooms are spacious (we had the King Suite) and the bed is to die for! We will definitely book here again (or maybe splurge for the Kasa Boardwalk downtown. We did some recon on that while there and it looked Amazing! Right across the street from the Thirsty Fish and a block from Front st!)

This is a tough one. My family of 4 stayed at The Vic in the off-season and it is worth noting that the price paid was seemingly well below market. So perhaps this is simply a case of getting what you pay for. The interior of the complex is beautiful on the surface. Modern and well appointed. Gorgeous lobby where a receptionist would sit if said receptionist existed. There's a nice stone fireplace void of fire with a TV mounted alongside playing "a fire" on a loop. A just metaphor for The Vic, actually. During our stay at The Vic there never seemed to be more than five other rooms rented. Unfortunately, we five or less were always clustered on top or besides each other. Sadly, I've never stayed anywhere with floors and walls so thin. ​I cannot thank Miranda at The Vic enough for turning a stressful situation around and allowing us to check in early. After a very rough few days and dealing with some significant issues at the Days Inn, I was finally able to get here with the help of a friend. What a world of difference! ​Finding a truly pet-friendly place that is actually nice and understanding can be a challenge, but so far this stay has been a breath of fresh air. Miranda was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which helped me feel at ease immediately. ​My dogs have finally calmed down and are no longer constantly on guard like they were before.
