The Trust Bed & Breakfast

I’ve stayed at The Trust B&B multiple times and each stay is always better than the last. Proximity to the beach and bars is amazing. Staff is great with excellent chefs from New Orleans preparing all meals. Drinks are served in the evening (and sometimes during the day) and I’m always offered a new drink even before mine becomes empty. The house is beautiful with tons of historic charm and is conveniently free of ghosts. Other guests may seem questionable at first but I’ve always enjoyed their company and have befriended many. 11/10 would recommend to a friend.

We stayed here with about 30 family members for a family reunion and had a great time. No, it is not spotless and new, but it is charming and historic with antiques everywhere. ||Rooms are spacious and a fantastic breakfast on real China in a formal dining room served by the owners. Fruit, coffee/tea, muffins, biscuits, grits, bacon, and eggs. ||The owners were extremely attentive and made us feel at home. We enjoyed rocking on the front porch or the side swing under the oak tree, and made many great memories here. No problem with the air conditioner once we turned it down. Some rooms have window units and some have central (we stayed in the room above the garage). ||Great location - walking distance to a few restaurants and the beach, a short drive or 10-15 min walk to downtown Bay St Lo

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Trust Bed and Breakfast. This place made old town Bay St. Louis feel like we took a step back in time. Our hosts (Hilton and his wife) were hospitable, attentive, and dedicated to preserving the history and beauty of their fine home. This 160 year old home went through one of the worst hurricanes in history...so the comments regarding the slight structural damages are a bit careless; the way they have restored their home is a site to see! ||||Once you set foot on the front porch, any negative reviews stay at the door as you walk in. If you're looking for a beautiful yet quaint, clean, affordable, and comfortable B&B in the heart of the adorable downtown of Bay St. Louis, MS, the Trust is the answer. It is in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of the beach, harbor, and downtown Main Street. It is owned and operated by the family who have owned and lived in it since the 1970s. They have painstakingly restored it more than once, both before and after the latest hurricanes. It is filled with Mr. Hilton's lifetime collection of antiques and memorabilia, which he will so entertainingly describe to you. Each morning a delicious hot breakfast is prepared for guests by Mr. Hilton and his family, and served in a large dining room on a gorgeous dining table, on fine china (a different set for each day!). Enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay at this Bed and Breakfast. Host and hostess are a charming older couple who painstakingly prepared the room and breakfast for our visit! If you plan to stay here, stop and enjoy the "25 cent tour" and all the stories to go along with it. The home was built in 1850 so you have to realize the rooms and bathrooms are all period decorated with beautiful antiques. There was no TV in the room which was perfectly fine with us. We were delightfully cool and comfortable |at night and woke to a even better nice HOT shower. Breakfast and hot coffee was most enjoyable!
