The Trailside Inn

Our first stay at The Trailside Inn this past weekend was very enjoyable...! We are avid skiers and have stayed in a lot of different places. The Trailside Inn is perfect for folks planning to ski Killington or Pico. Everything is as depicted on their web site. The place has a good ski lodge vibe. Our room was clean and everything was as it should be. There is a main Great Room with a big stone fireplace and large screen TV. Guests are encouraged to hang out there and socialize. The continental style breakfast, starting at 7:00 AM, got us fueled up for a full day of skiing. Owners Josh & Ann are on site and engaging much of the time. Fantastic stay at the Trailside Inn. Rooms were cozy/rustic with very comfy beds. My teenage kids loved the game room. The wide plan floors and large fireplace were a welcome sight after a day of skiing. Breakfast was excellent coffee, bagels and delicious yogurt with berries and granola. Looking forward to coming back. Love that we had 3 beds for 3 people for a comfortable night of sleep.

We are a family of four, with two college age boys. We got a room with a queen and two twins. It was perfect for sleeping and to stretch out we hung out in the great room by the fireplace where had snacks, and played board games both nights and even included other guests. Some others were watching football games. The community atmsophere was right up our alley. The boys enjoyed challenging each other to the various games in the downstairs game room (pool table, pong table, foosball, many other games). The price was also very reasonable. And oh! did I mention they provide breakfast! Hot steel cut oatmeal, this creamy yogurt with blueberries and granola, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs. it was perfect to get you going in the morning. Great location and overall accommodation. Rooms are simple but well appointed with everything you would need and common areas are comfortable and great for gathering be it over breakfast or by the fire in the evening. The game room and pool table are an added bonus. The hosts are also fantastic. Anne couldn’t be nicer.

Not only did I have my wedding here in August but I have also stayed at Trailside Inn for a long skiing weekend in March. In both scenarios the location and accommodation are just perfect! They offer easy parking, common spaces to hangout with a large fire in the winter, outdoor patio in the summer, and comfy beds. So if you are looking to ski Killington, stay here, you are close to a lot! If you are looking for a wedding venue, book Trailside now! From day one, working with Ann and Josh was so easy. They are quick with communication, kind people, and helpful through EVERY SINGLE part of the planning process. I really wanted a location where all of our guests could stay at one place, and Trailside was just that - hanging out all day, no driving anywhere, it was perfect. If you want that p
