The Strand

Carol is fantastic! The rooms were small but very clean. Every staff member was so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast but it served its purpose and seemed hot and fresh. It was nice to stay somewhere and not hear kids running up and down the halls and doors slamming. This place was quiet and quaint. We will be back.

Positive: It was a great location, the room was nice, staff was helpful! They even helped search for a stone that fell out of my wife's ring! (Turns out it fell into her suitcase, so we still had it, but the staff was very nice!) Love the balcony and the view. Negative: Doors are hard to open and you have to squeeze past furniture to get on the balcony. Breakfast OK but not many options for gluten-free. Would be nice to have hot water available (instead of having to ask for it by the cup).

My short vacation at the Strand in Myrtle Beach was awesome due to Ms. Jennifer McClung, Guest Service Manager. She gave us the best rooms, was always their when you need anything about the hotel or its surroundings. The food was awesome and customer services was the best. Thanks to Ms. Jennifer, I will be coming back to this location and bringing my entire family. I recommend this place for best customer service, price , location, food, view, and the heated pools. I'll also recommend my family and friends too. Thank you and God Bless.

The staff at the Strand are so friendly they will do whatever it takes to make your stay at the stand a great experience.|The rooms are very well laid out with ocean views from every room, and very clean, the cleaning lady does a very good job. |Breakfast is included, 6am to 10am, warning get there early because by 9am the food is overcooked as it's been sitting out for 3 hours, but it's a decent enough breakfast. |Only con l have is they should keep the shuttle bus going at least on the weekends in the winter. |The pool and lawn area are very nice, and it's great that we can use the facilities at the Breakers, the strands sister hotel. ||I rented for the whole month of December and have met some lovely people who also stay at the Strand for the winter months. |I just wish they were doing

Wow , what a great stay here. First time but definitely not the last. How I missed The Strand over the many years vacationing in MB is puzzling. Kinda viewed it last year, but this Spring we really spent some time ‘ checking it out’ and booked for September. And now that we finally tried it ?? We are already booked for next year! The service and comfort here are top notch and the included breakfast was a little better than expected. Big draw for us is being able to lie in bed and see the ocean and the expansive balcony was great for morning coffee or even enjoying a meal while seeing and hearing the waves hit the shore. Location is comparatively safe and close to one of our fav restaurants, and about a 1/2 hour walk to the boardwalk shops and Sky Wheel. The pool and hot tub are hu
