The Stage Restaurant Bonita Springs

Excellent food. I had the prime rib and it was outstanding. My friend had the ribs and loved it. The entertainment was very good and did an old time review of the 60 and 50's. It is a little expensive but that is because of the live band. Overall I recommend this restaurant but check the entertainment lineup before you make a reservation.

Great place for entertainment. We went one evening when they had a show with music from Elvis and that janra. It was very nice and we highly recommend the place. The food is good and the staff super friendly. We will return soon.... Just a heads up, make reservations ahead... And the only "note" I would like to make is that the establishment includes in the total bill the admission price toghether with the food and beverage and suggest that you the client to tip on all the bill... but no part of the tip is shared with the entertainment company...

A group of 4 of us made a reservation to see the Journey cover band. On the phone, the employee did not mention the pricing structure had changed and that we'd be expected to pay $59.95 per person PLUS the cost of food. When we questioned this, a manager wearing a t shirt that said "QUEEN" (not the band) came out and asked repeatedly if we'd checked the email confirmation. When we did, we noticed that it said $44.95, so they weren't even correct with their assertion that they'd told us $59.95! We ended up moving to a different seating area with a $24.95 cover charge and thankfully a much better view than the "premium" seat we were in initially. The show and the service was very good. I had one appetizer that I thought wasn't done properly but they immediately took it off my bill and offered to to give me another serving which I denied and they bought on a free cup of soup. Soup was excellent. Big concern was the way the gratuity was suggested. The gratuity also was off of the show which was $60 a ticket plus the food. There was also a charge using a credit card which I also thought was a little shallow as the bill is at a $200 range so very few people would be using cash. I have another two other dinner shows and this is the only time that a gratuity was suggested including the cost of the show. But again, the entertainment was excellent

Perspective and expectations are everything. If you had a great time at the last wedding reception you went to with no open bar and thought the food and entertainment were great, then you will love it here. If you want fine dining at a good price point, you will not like it here. The price is pretty steep for what you get, and no drinks are included - so if money is a concern to you, this might not be the right choice. If you're not worried about money, there are much better options locally. With that being said, you have to factor in the value of the entertainment, and maybe it's worth it. On my visit, it was not - The Temptations & Four Tops Tribute was not great (perhaps because I was not drinking). But maybe if there were a better group, it might have been worth the price of admission.
