The Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort

The Sparhawk resort never disappoints! It is our go to place twice a year for as long as I can remember and will be as long as we are able. We have recommended this resort to several friends over the years. We’ve stayed in just about every building but love the Ireland House suites. The breakfast is just enough and Denise and her staff are so nice and attentive. We appreciate the hard work that goes into it. The location is outstanding with beautiful views of Ogunquit Beach and the famous Marginal Way with access right from the resort. We love this place and rate it a #10.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful!! We had our two children (2 years old and 5 months old) and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Very quiet and rooms were very clean and the staff was great! Our biggest selling point was the location!! We walked to almost everything!!! And it was beautiful! We had an oceanfront room and the view was amazing! 10/10 recommend!

Great location for views and ocean closeness. It lulled us to sleep every night. Low tide gives beautiful beach walks and swims. Mariner Way is right there and is amazing for exercise with views right along the coast. Breakfasts included and offered a variety of good healthy cold food. We will definitely stay at the Sparhawk again.

Amazing setting with stunning ocean view, framed by the rocky shore, the river inlet with ever-changing tidal flow, shoreline homes and the beach jetty. Borders the Marginal Way for beautiful walks. Short walk to shops. Great rooms and free breakfast. Many regulars here, so setting is quiet and unhurried. The room had a bit of an older funky smell, but otherwise was spotless with nice heavy towels, walk-in shower, and seating inside and on the balcony. Very well maintained. You won't be disappointed.

My two girlhood friends and I traveled to Ogunquit to celebrate our 75th birthdays and are so happy we stayed in Suite 67 in Jacob’s House for our three-night get-together. As soon as we entered the suite, we knew we would have a perfect time and we were right. The accommodations were lovely, the staff friendly, and the location ideal. I had been to southern Maine many times, but usually stay in Wells at the Lafayette. This was my first time at the Sparhawk and I am so glad the facility could accommodate us with three beds and a living area where we could sit and talk. Sparhawk gave us a wonderful opportunity to have a mini-reunion (we live in three different areas of NYS). Thank you! The only thing all three of us wished for was a Keurig in the room so we could have coffee in the morning
