Best breakfast I had during our 2 weeks of travel. Everything from scratch and delicious! Clean modest room with amazing air conditioning, all the amenities, coffee, snacks, tea 24 hrs a day. Anthony was the best host. Beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas available. Very close proximity to the beach and town.

Our fifth annual stay at SHI once again exceeded expectations. The location, right in the middle of Ogunquit, is perfect for easy trips to every local restaurant and store. Our host Anthony accommodated our every request, especially for vegetarian options at breakfast. Breakfast doesn’t adequately describe the two-course feast we received each morning. My husband and I dream about the poached fruit all year. The room was immaculately clean and we deeply appreciated all the beach amenities that Anthony provided, including oversized beach towels and beach chairs. We can’t wait to book our trip for next year.

We spent two nights at the Scotch Hill Inn during and this was by far our best stay experience in a long time. The small number of reviews online had us a bit worried initially, but this is most definitely because regulars are keeping this place a secret. The service went above-and-beyond our expectations. Towels, chairs and beverages were available for those going to the beach. Books, movies and the intimate garden were there for those staying in. The owners, Anthony and Rita, are friendly dedicated hosts. The rooms were very clean (no sand in the shower!) and the AC was on beforehand during the scorching hot day, which war much appreciated. Excellent stay! Anthony is very personable and his mom is wonderful too. The house was perfect for my stay in Ogunquit. I was in Room 2. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The bathroom is small but the shower was warm and had great water pressure. The shining star here is the food! The breakfast is included and is the best. I will definitely be staying here again if I'm in the area.

Rita & Anthony made us feel right at home in this beautiful little BnB. The accommodations were perfect with much coveted off street parking and a 5 min walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. It was very hot out during our stay and our room was a cool oasis! Anthony’s homemade breakfast was amazing! ||They also have all the necessities for a great beach day (beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards). ||We will absolutely be back!
