Grasshopper Inn

We had a fantastic stay at the Grasshopper Inn! Friendly staff and the room was lovely, very spacious and so clean. Super soft bed sheets and comforter. The breakfast was perfect - freshly baked options as well as eggs, etc. The coffee was so good that we bought a few bags to take home with us. Location was great - walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The accommodations were lovely, lobby and breakfast area very warm and welcoming. Room was good size, very clean and excellent layout. Deck was great even on a cold evening. Liked the coffee service and free bottled water. We were greeted by Mark who is very customer focused and interested in our needs. He even demonstrated how to use the remote for the TV which for folks our age was a big help. He offered to bring ice to our room while we went to dinner. When he heard the restaurant we were looking at for dinner was not answering phone he jumped in to tell us it was closed for the season but then recommended one of his favorites. We absolutely loved our stay at the Grasshopper Inn! From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, offered great local recommendations, and were always available with a smile. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The inn itself is beautiful and immaculately clean — everything was spotless and even smelled amazing. It felt fresh, cozy, and so well cared for. The location is perfect — just a short walk to downtown Ogunquit, yet quiet and peaceful at night. What really stood out was how thoughtful they are about the little things. They’ve truly thought of everything you might need during your stay — from a pack ’n play and high chair in the lobby to beach carts available

The Grasshopper Inn was tremendous. Easy walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Made to order breakfast was great. Rooms were modern and clean. The area was very quiet. Mark, the concierge/front desk attendant was absolutely phenomenal! Being local, he gave us great advice on local attractions (both including and beyond Ogunquit), food … and he tailored those for us. He made sure our stay was exceptional. There are many nice hotels in the area – I’ll suggest that Mark’s engagement with us set this one head and shoulders above the others.

This is an excellent inn. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was great! The potato and onion frittata….mmmmm! We stayed two nights and three days. Staff were great. Manager, Mark, was our best friend. Helped us find gluten free food (me), secured reservations at great restaurants. All in all a superb weekend.
