We had a great time at callaway Garden and we light the Cottage

I leave a one star review only because it's the only way to leave a review and this place is so horrible that I have to detour people from this vacation spot. First night we get there they said they'd be ready by 3 PM they weren't ready till 7 PM and we were told we'd be compensated for this by taking 10% off of the bill. It was never taken off the bill and they said they couldn't take it off initially but it would be taken off when we checked out and otherwise we couldn't stay in our cabin. Since it was late we went through with their way. Go into the cabins installation to the cabin is off centered and makes it to where the cold air is constantly coming in (it was winter when we booked). The wifi didnt work the entire time neither did half of the channels for the TV. Every light fixture

Alright, to start off the when my family and I got to the resort at 4pm, we were greeted with a not ready cabin that was supposed to be ready at 3pm. This means that we cannot go and change into warmer clothes for the lights, unload all of our luggage, and most importantly not be able to get onto a shuttle because we have no confirmation of having a cabin, thus we would have to navigate through a horribly designed maze throughout the resort. However, when we were coming back from the lights, we had to go through a gate to get back into the resort. The gate in question needed a key card that would also be used for our cabin, but as previosuly mentioned, we had no key card because our cabin was not ready until after we got done witht the lights. My family then have to manuever our ways back

Noisy neighbors and if you are too close to the lodge and want quiet, get further back in the area. And the couches are very HARD to sit on. Feels like a rod is pressing on your spine. Beds are too soft. We enjoyed walking the trails. I brought a chair in from the porch and it was comfortable.

Attention to detail that one would expect for these prices was just not there. The cooking utensils were filthy. One pan not washed at all and another had burnt on residue left in it. It took multiple phone calls to get our "lights" tickets straightened out. Finally got the needed paper tickets at something called a will call tent that was hidden away at the overcrowded Christmas village. Wall to wall people with no masks or distancing. Nobody wearing masks inside despite the Omicron surge. An actual decent driving map of the property would be a welcome addition. The only plus here was a night (housekeeping?) person named Priscilla, who brought clean pans, some fire starters, and removed the old linens and trash from the porch. She was very kind and did what she could to make thing
