The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel

What an absolutely fabulous hotel. We selected this location as our wedding venue and have absolutely zero regrets about it. The entire staff were so kind to us during the whole process. I want to especially thank Brianna Welton, who took over as the event manager midway through our planning process. We were obviously a little nervous about the hotel staff change, but Brianna was absolutely great and made sure that the transition was completely smooth for us. We really appreciate the hard work that she put into making our wedding day special for us. I would also like to thank the entire staff. We had numerous friends and family come up and tell us how great the staff were and how they had been treated so well, which we truly appreciated. Outside of the wedding, we have come to the resort

I had the pleasure of staying at the Seabird Ocean Resort in Oceanside last weekend, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, with modern touches like a rain shower and a beautiful freestanding pedestal tub. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the oceanfront views were absolutely breathtaking…just steps away from the beach. Every dining experience was outstanding; the restaurants offered amazing food, the bartenders crafted some of the most creative drinks, and the room service was prompt and excellent. From the front desk to valet, and every member of the wait staff, the service was warm, professional, and made the stay even more enjoyable. This is probably one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend to anyone look

I stayed at the Hyatt Seabird in Oceanside, and while the hotel is visually impressive, the customer service and basic hospitality standards were shockingly below expectations—especially for a property that positions itself as a five-star destination. The hotel’s design is beautiful and the location near the ocean is undeniably appealing. But almost everything beyond the aesthetics fell apart. From the moment I arrived, the service was disorganized and inattentive. I actually had to go downstairs myself to ask where my luggage was, because no one followed up. That should never happen at a hotel of this caliber. My room had a foul odor, and I had to call three separate times before anyone addressed it—. The extra comforter they provided had lost the fillers (lol), not a luxury property. E

⭐️ Multiple Service Failures — Not the Resort Experience We Paid For We chose The Seabird expecting a relaxing resort experience for my husband’s birthday, but from the moment we arrived, our stay was marked by repeated service failures. Before arrival, I called twice to confirm there were no charges beyond the resort fee and was never informed that this is a cashless property or that there would be a $500 security deposit. This caused significant issues at check-in and required manager intervention to resolve. A fruit plate with a birthday note was ordered to be placed in the room before arrival and was not there. Later, while we were in the shower, a staff member unlocked our room and entered without knocking, which was extremely uncomfortable. The fruit delivery itself was incorrect

Repeat stay here, and consistently excellent. A great location on the beach in a vibrant section of Oceanside. Friendly staff and great food & beverage options within the hotel. I especially appreciated how management tried to accommodate all the kids staying there during a holiday time period with different activities. I would come back again for sure.
