The Sandbar Hotel Myrtle Beach, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Came down earlier than expected and they let us do an early check in. Room was a bit dated but clean. King bed was comfortable. Had a gorgeous ocean view. Listening to the waves crashing helped me sleep a lot better. Parking can be tight but it's manageable. The room was very quiet even with neighbors around us. Had a short walk to the beach if you wanted to. I would stay here again. There is no breakfast but the Plantation Pancake House is close by.

The first impression normally last. The Management and Staff of this Hotel are doing an excellent job in how they respond to the needs of a guest.||One of the best front office team I have come across in all my stays. Myrtle Beach has won. Very Professional, caring and listens well. The rooms are Clean and the location is great. Thank you all for taking care of me during my stay. Positive: I like that the hotel is close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. Negative: The one thing I did not like about the hotel was not being able to check in early. If you want to check in early you have to pay an additional $60.00 which I thought was absurd as I was paying enough for the room already.

Stayed in the “Romance Suite” and it was disgusting. The floors were so sticky and gross we had to wear shoes the whole time. We thought maybe it was because the building is off to itself from the office but no, it’s not. I took my kids here recently after the stay at the romance suite hoping the family suite would be cleaner since it’s a family suite and gets used more but I was wrong. I brought my own bleach and bleached everything because the counters weren’t wiped down the shower and bathtub wasn’t clean You can honestly tell that they just come in there and change the sheets that’s it. I spent well over $1,700 total for the romance suite and family suite and let me just say I could have stayed at the Hilton for the price of this place and had a cleaner nicer stay. This well kept secret is the bees knees of luxury motels. The room was amazing 🤩 and was very well kept. The staff was amazing. And lastly the management was very supportive and helpful. They were very concerned that all my concerns and needs were met. Overall a 20 out of 10 and I can’t wait to come back again in the spring and summer. If you’re looking for a bang for your buck, come to the sandbar motel! 😊
