When we first arrived we were a bit hesitant because the outside looked pretty run down and nothing like the pictures when we booked. We contemplated canceling and booking elsewhere but we decided to see what it was like first. We checked in but our room wasn't ready, we were told we would get a phone call when our room was good to go. We wandered around, there's shops and food within walking distance, about 2 hours later we still had yet to hear from anyone. My husband popped in and we were told our room was ready and they called us.... They did not but whatever. We got in, the room was fine, spacious enough but the ac didn't work too well in the living room. We also went out on the balcony to be greeted by the smell of pot from the people below us. We asked the front desk about our ac an

Booked an ocean front room at the Sailfish in January thinking it was a top notch resort, but ended up with a room on the second floor in June, with a palm tree obstructed view. Not happy with this room at all. I can barely even see the ocean. The room is much smaller than adverted. The pool at Sailfish is atrocious and its a really long walk to the bigger pool and the lazy river. The Sailfish is supposed to contain a water park. Its just two indoor water slides. That's it. Maybe the main Breakers hotel is nicer, but ill never stay at Sailfish again. Oh, and it has one ancient elevator that took 10 minutes to arrive.

This was our first visit to the Breakers Resort, and we were guests at the Sailfish Tower. Our condo was on the penthouse floor and had two bedrooms. There are two full bathrooms and a kitchen with a dining room table. There is an ocean front balcony that was very private with beautiful views. We had a second balcony on the side of the building that would be great on hot summer days, as the afternoon sun does not shine on it. Our kitchen lacked many items to cook and entertain with. Because we were there for 5 weeks, we purchased many items that were not available by the owner. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Loved the washer and dryer. The tower has 13 floors and only one elevator. During the week it was not an issue, but when the crowds came on weekends, it was a pain

I can not in good conscience recommend anyone stay at this place. The Breakers is a nice vacation spot, but definitely stay at the Paradise. My mother booked these rooms and when asked if both rooms needed to be on the same floor she said no to be agreeable, and then they decided to book us multiple BUILDINGS apart! Common, y’all! Our room shows a nightly rate of over $2,000 on the door. Granted we didn’t pay that, but even still, for a room listed at this rate, this is what you get: A single elevator for a 12-story hotel with no air conditioning. It is so incredibly hot, and by the end of the day, smells like a latrine and feels like a steam room. Open-air hallways, so also incredibly hot. Rooms with extremely heavy doors which are weighted to close almost violently. I’m guessing this

The room and furnishings were dark and outdated. It was not clean. There were repairs that needed to be done. The room would sleep 6 - but the coffee pot brewed 2 cups. There were no supplies (i.e. paper towels, add'l trash bags) in the room. The beds were terrible (hard). And we got little sleep during our entire stay due to a loud "foghorn" type noise going off every 30 minutes. It was the worst condo I've ever stayed in at the beach and I would NEVER stay there again.
