The Sage Motel

The Sage was exactly what we needed for our NYE celebration in Saratoga. It’s not fancy, but it is quaint, clean and comfortable. We loved it! Our two Australian Shepherds loved it too. It’s just a few blocks from the town’s free, public hot springs and all of the best restaurants and shops in town. When we are ready for some more WY hot springs, we will definitely be staying at The Sage again!

Check in with super easy because you receive a code in your email to check into your room. A super roomy room it was. Three beds and all the accommodations you’d expect in a modern hotel. It is a classic hotel and a beautiful part of Wyoming. The room was super clean. Would recommend to any traveler.

The Sage Motel is a relatively basic but comfortable and adequate place to stay at in Saratoga, at good value. The lady who runs the place was great - attended to our questions and needs promptly and with a good dose of humour. We'd recommend it heartily for a stopover.

We booked this room for a quick getaway after seeing good reviews and a very affordable price. The building is a classic old motor in, but has been completely remodeled. At first glance from the outside can give you the impression it is old and outdated, but the rooms have been completely remodeled from fresh sheet rock all the way through the fixtures and amenities. Our room was clean and neat and everything worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and stay at the Sage Again.

I booked this room last minute online for a school wrestling event. It was one of the two remaining vacancies in town and was the lesser expensive of the two. Upon arrival I was a little concerned given the outside appearance but the place gets 4+ star reviews so held hope. I sat in my vehicle for a moment to catch up on a few personal messages, and after about 5 minutes was greeted by the hotel manager. She made sure I had my entry code and checked me in before I even exited my vehicle. I followed her in after another minute or two to make sure she didn't need anything from me and to offer a more formal exchange. She assured me all was good.
