Jack Creek Campground

I've stayed here 2 times in 2025. Once in early August, and once in early October. Both times were great! There is a single vaulted outhouse and a water pump near the entrance also garbage cans. However the campground is winterized October 1st so the water pump is winterized and the garbage cans are locked. The bathroom is open but bring your own TP. There is no cell service in the campground. I saw lots of wildlife while there. The sites are not huge so if you have a big camper might be a little bit tight.

Was up there moose hunting and was about to camp in the campground but before I found a spot for my camper went to use the outhouse and just about puked. Someone decided to poop all over the walls and down the side of the toilet. No toilet paper either. Nastiest outhouse I have ever seen. Ended up moving to somewhere else. If you have to pay $16 a night and can’t keep it clean then something is wrong.

Enjoyed our time here. Was very quiet! Make sure you bring bug spray, the bugs and mosquitoes are thick. Very clean campground and the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen at a campground.

Nice camp ground with small creek running through it. Watch for bears and elk with calves.

I wish it hadn't been pouring down rain the night we arrived because it seemed like a nice little campground. It was raining so hard we couldn't set up camp and had to sleep in our fully packed,cramped pickup. The next morning it wasn't raining though so we hung out by the creek just before you enter the campground. Daughter tried fishing too,she had several bites but no catch which was fine because it was a beautiful morning.
