The Ridgeline Hotel At Yellowstone, Ascend Hotel Collection

One night's stay, but well worth it! First impression is from the riverside location, far enough off the main street to be really quiet. You can stand in the parking lot and look across most of Gardiner to see the Arch entrance to Yellowstone. It's that close. We had a great experience with booking directly. During the week before we arrived, we got a note from the hotel letting us know there would be some renovations underway for the room type we'd selected, so they would need to change it. When we checked in and got to the room, found they'd relocated us to an enormous double suite with a huge balcony (!). Check-in was great, with the desk giving us a fantastic recommendation for dinner (Wonderland Cafe). Now, it wasn't the desk's fault at all, but I really felt sorry for the two guys

Positive: They had everything we could have needed including the best free breakfast I've ever had at a hotel! The room and the entire hotel was super clean with tons of amenities - comfortable beds & pillows, super friendly staff - a definite 10 star rating!!! Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. In fact, we took a picture of a ist of their other locations so if we are ever needing a room in any other areas of the U.S. where they are located, we definitely want to stay at one of their hotels!

Stayed 2 nights. Loved the s'more kits and really appreciated Amieka and Cindy. They were friendly and helpful. A delight to interact with them. Beautiful location!

We stayed in one of the cabins. We really liked the location of the hotel to the park. We also loved that there is a local bar and restaurant within walking distance. We loved the wildlife nearby. The one thing we weren't super happy about was the cleanliness of the room. It was actually quite dirty when we got there. There were cobb webs all over the walls, spill spots all over the couch. Stuff stuck on the counters, etc. The carpet was in need of a deep clean. We just felt like the price of the room was much more than what we got. The hot tub looked nice although we didn't get in. The pool was really really gross and dirty. It was green. The little arcade room was fun. The firepits outside were a nice touch.

This place is right at the Yellowstone entrance so we stayed one night only. There's no elevator which is one of the downside. Besides that we weren't in the room much time. They do provide free laundry usage! They had free s'mores that you could use for the fire pit. Kim was an angel. I told her I was a city girl hoping to see wildlife. She said, "this isn't Disney Land, think more like Jurassic Park." She literally took time to make sure my outting was safe. It's not an updated place but great location.
