The Red Fox Inn & Tavern

This review is for the Tavern portion of this establishment. We didn't have the pleasure of staying here, but we were able to enjoy the 4 course meal. From the moment we entered we were treated amazingly. The manager on duty told us that she wanted to upgrade our table to one closer to their amazing fireplace. They were so hospitable throughout the dinner service. They took pictures for us and explained the dining options impeccably. My fiance and I were blown away by how cozy and comforting the atmosphere was. The food was also really delicious and filling. I got the duck and my fiance ordered their crispy rabbit. We both smiled at each other after every bite, it was phenomenal!! We will definitely be visiting again in the future when we are in the area. Thanks again to the incredible

We rang in the new year with an amazing meal here. This was our third time dining with them and it is seriously always perfect. This time we were upstairs in their main dining room and the fireplace and Christmas decorations created such a cozy atmosphere. Our waitress Maria was the best. She answered all our questions and gave great recommendations. Took pictures of nearly every dish except for dessert which we ate before I remembered to take a photo oops!

Stay for 3 nights with 2 other couples. Check in process was smooth and very client focused. Loved our cottage - small but updated and pristine. The daily in-room breakfast service was a treat - on time, hot and delicious! Lots of food! The bed towels were lovely. We ate in the dining room one night. The food was delicious and the service was very good! Great proximity to stroll shops and enjoy other restaurants l. Free parking. ||Suggestions to improve this review:|-there was nowhere on premises for our group to meet and enjoy a cocktail on our first night because there is no lobby with a sitting area and all the restaurants and bars were closed due to a private event|-Bathroom lighting is a little minimal for a woman who wants to put on her makeup. Went here on Christmas Eve for the first time and enjoyed the four course dining experience. The entire building is thoughtfully designed to match the towns aesthetic (fox/equestrian). The dining rooms were cozy and warmed by fireplaces. The service here was excellent. Each dish was incredibly delicious, perfectly portioned, and perfectly timed in between courses. The cornbread was *chefs kiss* phenomenal! Highly recommend if you want a special dining experience 🦊

This iconic Middleburg restaurant is definitely worth the hype. We went for a three-course holiday menu that had many excellent choices, including game options. The service was helpful and professional, the food amazing, and the atmosphere just so charming and cozy by the fire on a chilly night with holiday decorations. We will be back!
