The Ranch Motel

Easy to find right off I-5. Great little drive thru coffee shop a block away. The whole parking lot was well lit which made me feel safe as a single female traveler. The shower was instantly hot and the water pressure made me want to stay forever.

Charming place conveniently located on the I-5 between Portland and Southern Oregon. Tim and Lisa were great. The stay was quiet even with the road noise (more like white noise). Friendly chickens roam about. Fun experience staying in a little A-frame with everything you need. Highly recommend!

We stayed here a couple of years ago and liked it, looks like it's owed by Oyo now. Little individual A-frames. No shared walls. Chairs outside. Very cute and retro. Definitely an older motel, but well maintained. Too bad the adjoining restaurant is shut down (was last time we were here, too). Closest place to eat is Pilot, which has a Denny's and a Subway. Not much else around, so plan accordingly. Convenient to I-5 and decently priced. We'd stay again!

I’ve been meaning to write a review for the ranch motel. It’s one of those places that I was so grateful to find it existed!! It’s quite possibly the last affordable cute Americana motel left! I travel the country playing music And this spot is infamous! Since I’m about to book again, I realized I never originally left a review and this place deserves all the stars beyond what google can give!!

A gem! I met one of the owners after a long night of driving. They bought one of the original A-frame motels built in the 60’s and are restoring it. Lisa was super friendly and more than accommodating. The rooms were clean and unique. Like being in a cabin. Unlike anything I’ve stayed in before. They even have chickens! Comfortable bed, cable, heating, fridge, shower and homemade cookies when I checked in. And you park directly in front of your unit which makes loading and unloading a breeze. Will stay again on my travels.
