Customer Reviews
Great value and close to downtown. Stopped here for two nights and the service at the front desk was outstanding- I had a lot of gear to unload and they made sure my room was in a convenient location for unloading. They also had great hiking and restaurant recommendations. I ate at two of the restaurants listed in their pamphlet from the front desk-phenomenal! (Campo at Los Poblanos and La Guelaguetza)
I stayed at the Querque hotel for a few days while my floors were being redone. The hotel has an interesting mix of resort-like and cheap motel features. On one hand, they have a heated indoor pool and weight room that are very nice. Their rooms are tastefully decorated with good furniture and are better than what you would get elsewhere. The air conditioning units were amply powered for the space and could control the temperature very well. On the other hand their bathrooms didn’t have fans and their continental breakfast only had a limited selection and no proteins. The hotel is in a rough part of town, at the intersection of two freeways, but there was security in the parking lot that makes the hotel feel safer.
The room was large and had been renovated as well as the rest of the property. As mentioned in other reviews, breakfast was minimal, but they don’t advertise a free breakfast, so it was a pleasant surprise. We both liked the property, and with the exception of the desk chair, everything was fine. We will be back.
I look for local hotels that are clean, friendly, and safe. The Querque hit all those requirements and then some. It is an older building, but we'll maintained and very clean. Every staff member i met was friendly and efficient, and when I met the manager I could see why. There were plenty of food options nearby, and I was able to uber anywhere I needed to go for $10-$20 depending on time and distance. I will definitely be returning when I am back in the area.
I’ve stayed here 4 times in the last 3 months. Traveling between Texas and Utah. Never any issue until tonight. Over the $50 refundable fee I almost didn’t get my room tonight because all of a sudden they don’t accept certain cards which is the same card I’ve used every time. Thank you to the manager from coming through or my kids and I would have had to sleep in our vehicle over that. Do better.
