We enjoyed our stay...the rooms are nice and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful....here comes the "but". The pictures of the place at 171 Spring shows a porch with chairs and a swing. There is no porch. That's the house next door. My husband is disabled and we assumed the porch was a common area it's in the pictures on their page, but it belongs to the house next door. He didn't go everywhere I did because he can't walk far, he was looking forward to sitting outside on the porch when I wasn't there. Our grandson is a student at The Citadel and it's a great location to stay and go back and forth for events...about a mile away. We stayed in the pink room, one bedroom, kitchen and bath. For those who aren't fit or have a handicap, 19 steep steps lead you to your room. Our parking also

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was cozy, and the added touches, like complimentary coffee, made the experience even better. The location is convenient, and overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy your trip. Highly recommend!

Staff members from top to bottom were not very accommodating and helpful. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed. W|We would definitely book this location again. Easy Uber down town. Easy access to car for longer trips. Enjoyed the amenities. Clean and spacious. (2 bedroom)

DO NOT let them book you in Room D unless you prefer no sleep during your stay. Paper thin windows and walls, felt like our bed was actually on the street. Speaking of the beds....they're really bad. Mattress is cheap and super soft, wife and I had trouble sleeping due to the above combo. Location is only redeeming quality of the place. Water pressure is also very bad in the bathroom. Shower is barely a drizzle, sink barely works. They basically put lipstick on a pig and sold it as a boutique hotel.

You hear some traffic and a few helicopters as others have mentioned but staying in the city that’s how it’s going to be. We had some trouble with other guests being loud but they took care of that for me. The facilities themselves were incredibly clean and open and super nice to have a whole little apartment. You’re VERY close to all the great attractions and we got to see everything we wanted to see.
