The Iris

We enjoyed three nights at the Iris, and found it was modern, clean, convenient and very comfortable. The beds and pull out couch were excellent, and the blankets and pillows most comfortable. The amenities including a Dyson hair dryer and a functional washer/dryer were high quality and functional. The carousel car park was a first for us, which was straightforward to use and much appreciated. The accommodation is just enough distance from the business of King street to enjoy a little quiet, still walkable to all the fun attractions. We would gladly stay here again.

The Iris was an outstanding stay from start to finish. The rooms were beautifully maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed everything felt clean, fresh, and well cared for. Service truly stood out. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and consistently helpful, making the experience feel seamless and genuinely hospitable. The location is very good and convenient, though not absolutely perfect but still close enough to everything to make getting around easy. Overall, a fantastic stay with top-tier rooms and service. I would absolutely return.

The Iris was excellent! The room was very nice as it was clean & well equipped with everything needed for a week's stay. Location was just 2 blocks off King St to restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. On-site parking was nice. One time on carousel parking & you'll be a pro. Staff & their service sets them apart from any other place: Samantha, Nick & Savannah were helpful & friendly. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Iris! The room was great; very clean and well stocked. The welcome wine and chocolate were a really nice touch. The staff and communication was great. Everyone was so nice!! The location was perfect. Walking distance to great restaurants! I would definitely return to the Iris when we are back in Charleston.

This hotel was a fantastic stay and unbeatable location. Everything we needed was within walking distance making it incredibly convenient to explore the area without any hassle. The room itself was well thought out and exceptionally well equipped. The bathroom was fully stocked with quality toiletries and plenty of towels. The kitchen was just as impressive too, with all the essentials provided. Overall, the combination of location, comfort, and attention to detail made this a place I’d happily stay at again.
