The Prince Hotel

The worst place I’ve ever stayed and I live in hotels when I travel for work. Don’t stay here I repeat don’t waste your money. No heat in the lobby. The front entrance doesn’t open so the have the back door opened for anyone to walk in. Was told I can have 1 room key and don’t lose it or forget it because they can’t guarantee that somebody who works there Will be available to make a new one. So after waiting an hour at the desk for somebody to come print me a room key in the freezing cold lobby. I finally went to my room where there is mold growing around the bed. The sheets and blankets were stained all up my towels had holes and stains all over them. The shower had use soap in it. Do NOT stay here. Lobby was at 35°, couldn't find our reservation, very slow service, dirty rooms. Just go to one of the local bigger hotels. It's worth the extra few dollars!

The room that was advertised on Expedia was supposed to be for two people. When my husband and I showed up at the hotel, it appeared abandoned with the bar shut down and no one around. The reception desk was empty, I had to call two numbers before somebody showed up. The clerk kept insisting he only had one room for one person, and "to go see it". No offer to upgrade was made even though online appears to have had more vacancy. The whole situation seemed sketchy, and the hotel seemed unsafe. When I asked for a refund since I had prepaid , the clerk said : " I am not going to charge you", turned around and RAN AWAY inside an elevator as my husband and I were still talking to him. The rooms are antiquated but clean enough. The stuff is very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again! The price is great for the size/quality of the rooms!
