The Prancing Pony Guesthouse (Ouachita Cabin at Edendell)

Such a quirky cabin! Beautiful and interesting decorations. It has one regular bathroom and a second bathroom with 3 individual private shower stalls and 3 private toilet stalls with a bank of four sinks.... So it works geaak for a big group.

The owner has created a space that feels like a botanical garden, with an extensive collection of beautiful plants throughout the property. He even grows and sells unique plants, including pawpaw trees. My siblings and I met there after a long time apart, and the owner was exceptionally kind and accommodating to us. My husband and I had been searching for pawpaw trees for over a year, and the owner, hearing our story, generously gave us two trees. This level of hospitality and personal kindness is rare. The vacation rental is a beautiful and serene place, and the owner’s generosity made our stay truly unforgettable. I highly recommend it.

Great location for the Ouachita Challenge. 13 of us stayed in the house and it was perfect with lots of beds and lots of bathrooms! Joanna, the host, was amazing to work with and accommodated all of our requests! We will definitely be back!!

I was in town this weekend with a large group for the Ouachita challenge bike race and this place was ideal. Plenty of room, Great facilities and just a completely relaxed atmosphere and an excellent value for a large group to use as a home base for this event. This will be the first place I look next time I'm in the area. Thank you!

I loved my time at Edendell! I visited with my sister, brother-in-law and nieces and nephews. We felt so welcomed and taken care of. The whole property is beautiful and I would have loved to spend a whole week there. There wouldn't ever be time enough to read all the great books that are available. There were books and unique decor in every room. A perfect place to retreat and relax away from the business of life.
