Ouachita Campground at Edendell

My boyfriend and I just needed a place to stay overnight before we dug for crystals and this place was perfect! I didn’t get to explore much because of the timing but I would love to come back in the spring to experience it. The hosts were wonderful and worked with us when I told them we were arriving later than anticipated, and even checked in to make sure we made it in alright! I will be back for sure :)

Hands down the best hosts ANYWHERE. We loved our stay while we were waiting to close on our property. Amazing family, views, landscape, facilities and very fair charges for RV parking. Ride SxS just a couple miles to Ouichita trails or connect to Wolfpen on a nice ride! And the BBQ at the lil corner store at the bottom of the hill there?....wow. You will be so glad you stayed. Our family has now come here three times this year alone as it is such a magical and beautiful spot! Only 25 minutes from our favorite Crystal mine (Twin Creeks) Where we go dig quartz crystals, the campground has all the amenities we need, a view that is priceless, and the most magical pond that my kids loved to swim in! The icing on the cake is the Shaver Family : The kindest, most hospitable and loving people one could ever hope to meet. I don’t know how many times we will be back here, but it will be many.

Amazing view from the RV sites... They allowed our friends to stay car camping and tent camping. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They even offer FREE firewood. There are two idyllic ponds for swimming and fishing. There something like 30 acres to explore or walk the dog... and we were able to ride to trails sirect8deom rhenproperty. The bathroom/laundry facilities are a long (beautiful!) walk or a short drive from the main RV sites but Laundry is FREE! There is a kitchen with stove and microwave and fridge... which is nice to keep heat out of RV. Close to small-town general store with great brisket and pulled pork, gas station there too.

We stayed here for one night. We came in around 7:00ish , the host still met us , showed us around. And give suggested a closer site since it was so dark outside, we took it and we were not disappointed. It was open so we could still see the stars, we had a fire going .. it was so peaceful.we will definitely be back again, with our children. Until next time. Thank you guys for hosting us!
