The Patricia Grand - Myrtle Beach

This hotel has been a family tradition of ours since mid 2000's. Enjoyable place to relax with family and bring our pets. It had been a lapse in time since our last visit but expected the same quality now in 2026 that we were accustomed to. Made reservation directly through the Vacasa website with much verification and even photos of Drivers License. On arrival, there was much confusion about our identity and verification. Took a long time to finally get a room and it wasn't even similar to what we had specified online. Terrible visit. Will never return.

Room was OLD very out dated. Beds were terrible. Parking was a nightmare. From Friday to Monday morning the lobby and the front entrance smelled of pot. Guests music was loud. The staff was not friendly down right rude the entire weekend. During the week Stacy was the only friendly staff I encountered. The restaurant nor the coffee shop was not open at anytime during my stay. I nor my mom will ever stay in the Patricia Grand. Bad in all aspects.

Nice hotel. Wasn't a big fan of the parking garage. Room was kind of small for a double queen room. Staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to our keypad entry not working. They fixed it immediately.

We are here during a winter storm in January. The room does have fantastic views and is such a treat to lay in bed and look out at the hugh ocean. People are so nice and welcoming. We had zero issues. It was affordable and clean but it is an older building. We loved it!!!

I just have to give a huge shoutout to Wendy, the bartender. She was the absolute highlight of my visit. From the second we sat down, she made us feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of.||Wendy has that perfect mix of professionalism and personality — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She checked on us often without hovering, made sure our drinks were perfect, and even gave great recommendations. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and truly enjoys connecting with the guests.||In a place that can feel a little quiet during the off-season, she brought all the warmth and good energy. She’s the kind of person who turns a simple stop for a drink into a memorable experience.||If you’re visiting, definitely make your way to the bar and look for Wendy — she’s the best!
