The Palms Oceanfront Hotel

We stayed in the oceanfront room with two queen beds. The room was nice and the view was amazing. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. We did have a few issues. The floor should have been swept and mopped before we checked in. It was sandy and sticky. It was great having a Keurig, however the room was only stocked with two regular coffee pods so needed to frequently have that refilled. Finally the toilet paper holder was in an awkward spot toward the back of the toilet tank causing the roll to frequently fall off the holder. If these items weren’t an issue, I would have given a five star rating.

Nice place, ho ever I feel it's a bit over peuves for what you get. We paid $200 more to have a sud view of the ocean. We had to stand on this small patio not meant for 2 ppl to view. Below is an outdoor diner in which I was afraid the whole time we were out there that my drink was going to fall off the table and hit someone below. The hotel does not have a washer and dryer as well. Not much of a hot breakfast variety either. For the price I think they can do better. Just pancakes. All othe food is good. Be sides the oatmeal.

This was a first…actually went and bought sheets because they were dirty. Front desk person was gone at check-in and took 10 minutes to show up. Rude front desk would be accurate. Interesting that another person tried to purchase a room as we left and were told the only way was to book online. Maybe off season personnel is tough but between cleaning and front desk the hotel scored poorly. On a positive side, location was a winner with ocean front views however it is definitely not worth it to stay here.

I was super pleased with our stay! We got a very reasonable price on our stay so I was a little nervous to see the place and I was so very happy we chose to stay here! The staff was great, the hotel was clean, and the location couldn’t have been better! The only complaint we had was the elevator took forever and was not air conditioned so we used the steps which the stairwells are also not air conditioned. They had maintenance people painting rooms and doors keeping the place looking nice so they definitely care about the look and they guests so hopefully they can help this in the near future… I looked at a crazy about of places before we booked and I read reviews on every single one so I hope to help someone else with reassurance that this is a great place to stay! 5 stars!

Spotless hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. We had a room facing the beach with a million-dollar view. The shower was spotless, had excellent water pressure, and plenty of towels.||The location was superb. |We were there in November, so it was very quiet, but there are outside bars and restaurants next door to the hotel. I would imagine in warmer months, you would hear everything from these restaurant bars. That would be the only disadvantage of having a room facing the beach. |Maybe in the warm months, you’d always keep the door closed with the air conditioning on, which was unnecessary in November.
