The Ocean House Bed & Breakfast Hotel in Spring Lake, NJ

We had a fun four days at the ocean house, the beach was beautiful and the town was fun, especially the bookstore in its new location. loved our cozy twin room, good cross breeze with the windows open. breakfast was great every morning and i really like the fruit salad with homemade granola. afternoons and nights on the porch were magical and the staff and fellow guests fun to talk to. endless walks and bike rides through the neighborhoods and on the boardwalk are the absolute best. bikes are right there to use-- try the big blue ones if they fit. and sunset on the two bridges on the lake (we always cross both) is amazing; pretty first quarter moon, too.

Ocean House exceeded my hopes for a reunion of 8 college gals (class of ‘83). You can’t beat this location - one block to the ocean, one block to the lake and just a bit further to town. At the same time, we may have been happy simply on the inviting, cozy, comfy porch. Lovely, clean rooms. Delicious breakfast. Owner and staff so personable. Very very happy.

My wife and I stayed at Ocean House for our anniversary weekend, and loved everything about it. The rooms were great, the inn is fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious. The highlight for us was the hospitality from the staff, especially Jared, who makes you feel at home. This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway on the Jersey shore. We can’t wait to come back!

This was my second stay at Ocean Place. Room was lovely with very comfortable beds. Outside porch is amazing. The breakfast was a nice variety of hot and cold options. Staff and owners were fantastic. You can not beat the location. Perfect getaway!

This was our second time at Ocean House and it was just as good as the first. We were aware of the no elevator and limited on site parking and for us neither one was a problem. ||The breakfast was always good and we had a lot of choices on the daily menu. We had breakfast on the large porch every morning. There is also water, iced tea and coffee available all day. ||Our third floor room was quiet, had a comfortable bed and a good shower with plenty of hot water. Only one note that there are not as many outlets as we would have liked but we had charging cords that handled multiple devices so we made it work. ||We had no problem getting towels, chairs or umbrellas. The beach was a short walk away and is clean and relatively quiet. No boardwalk amusements makes for a quieter, more relaxing ex
