The Breakers on the Ocean

Kind and caring staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Quick to act if there are any issues with the room. Pilot light was out on our fireplace and someone came and took care of it within 10 minutes of calling the front desk. Amazing views of the ocean(depending on the room requested). Very accommodating and the food is amazing!!

I don't usually leave reviews, but my girlfriend and I had such a pleasant stay at The Breakers I wanted to say something positive. We booked a large suite with a fireplace and whirlpool tub for two nights. The entire hotel is kept immaculately clean, and the staff is very pleasant, right down to housekeeping. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We were a little tired and didn't feel like going out. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but it was so good we decided to eat there again a second night. The restaurant was packed, and service wasn't quite as professional the second time around, but was still acceptable. We travel a lot, and I have no idea why some websites list this as a two-star hotel. We won't hesitate to return.

Had lunch with the Ladies on a Saturday afternoon. Not overly busy in the dead of winter so didn't feel rushed. The menu selection is extensive and all reasonably priced. The waitstaff is attentive and professional. A good place for a pleasant experience.

Wedding Venue May 17, 2025 A Day filled with EUPHORIA! Everything was So Wonderful! The Ceremony with Rev.Michael Whalen of Spring Lake NJ. Exceptional Customer service from Sandy in the office who went above and beyond to help make our Very Special day everything we could possibly hope for! And Sandra assisted in the reception room {The Seashell Room}and all the Wonderful People {employees} and most importantly Our Guest who helped in making My Husband Bruce and Mine[Anne} Wedding Venue so Exceptionally Memorable! Our Guest could not say enough about how Delicious the food was from beginning to end! WOW the "Ambiance so Picturesque! Would Highly Recommend "The Breakers On the Ocean" Thankyou! Thankyou ! Thankyou ! Your The Best!!!!!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had a lovely dinner before seeing a play in town. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Five starts is well deserved here. Also, for those with a wheelchair, they have an elevator for that at the main entrance on ground level.
