The Oaks Inverness RV Park

This is a campground. There are no rooms. There is no pool. Too many cats. Needs work. But we found out they are trying to fix it up. New owner been there two years. The bathroom was clean. People were great I like how they have get togethers every night. Once a month pot luck. Brings people together. I would go bk. Hopefully the cats will be gone. Just too many. This place has potential. Price was great also.

Don’t even bother! This place is awful. It is about 1.5 miles from the main road. While the access road there starts out decent, it soon turns into the road from hell that your RV most likely wouldn’t make it down. Huge pot holes and I would hate to see what it is like when raining. The RV park itself is a dump. It looks like paradise for a hoarder. There are places that look like shacks. Would not want to stay one night here.

This is real relaxation! Super quiet and tucked down a long but manageable dirt road. I had no issues bringing my 30 foot travel trailer here. The campsites are large and very shaded. I came to relax and that I did. The property is under construction but the amenities that they had were clean and sufficient. The staff was very friendly and super helpful! I would definitely come back for another relaxing stay. I enjoyed all the wildlife I saw and how peaceful the entire property was. My dogs enjoyed them selfs also!

I was looking for a spot for our RV for the winter and just happened to be in Inverness for a couple of weeks. We would never be able to get our RV down that dirt road with as long as it is and bumpy. I had to put my Jeep in 4-Wheel drive just to get down it! Our RV would definitely bottom out with the way that road is. I'm sure the grounds are very nice based on the reviews I've read, but if you have a Class A motorhome, I wouldn't chance it on this road.

Absolutely loved my stay here! You can tell the management is dedicated to creating a truly special experience. The pool and hot tub, surrounded by the peaceful countryside, make for the perfect place to unwind. Even with ongoing renovations, they’ve put so much thought into the little details—cozy fires every night, scheduled events, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. If this place is available, it’ll always be my first choice for a relaxing getaway!
