The New Continental Hotel and Restaurant

My boyfriend and I were kayaking in the area and decided to check out this historical place. The hotel is in a lovely, private area. Our room was immaculate and Diane, our host, couldn’t have been nicer. It is a beautiful setting and we enjoyed a nearly full moon and planet watching on the terrace! Will definitely go again!

Miss The Continental, our room, the atmosphere, peaceful and so cozy, feels like like being home. The food excellent, the staff pays attention to detail and caters to your needs with tlc. The views are breathtaking. Looking forward to staying again! My other half is from the South and was amazed how of all the beauty in Greenwood Lake, particularly the sunrise view from the deck on the Lake at The Continental. I love the authenticity of the detail of the antiques and the craftsmanship of the woodwork. Very European. Must go again. Not many places like this anymore. Thank you for taking great care of us. My girlfriend and I stayed there on September 8,2022. It is a homey , clean hotel filled with old Upstate New York beauty and charm. Stayed there while kayaking on and around Greenwood Lake . Great views of the lake and surrounding mountains fro both the room and the veranda both at night and during the day. Wonderful place to view the stars on a clear night The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly, kind hearted people. Pam and Diane are sweethearts! Beautiful atmosphere. Family built and owned since 1920. Our first time there and we loved it would definitely come back again and stay! The waterfront just sets it off! Thank you Continental Inn we enjoyed our stay! 💜

Six of us enjoyed lunch on the patio today having requested a lake view. Wonderful, especially the food and service. Each ordered a different meal and all were Delicious. Being outside on a beautiful early fall day with good friends and excellent food is perfect
