Lakefront Escape Suites

We enjoyed two beautiful days at Lakefront Escape. The house is so lovely, so perfectly situated, that within minutes of arriving, the hectic hustle and bustle of the city seemed like a distant memory. The house is charming-- comfortable, clean, and cozy. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was readily available. As nice as the house is (and it is), it's the outdoor space that makes this place so special. There are two yards, one that's right on the water, and a wrap around deck/porch/balcony that offers spectacular views. I could have spent the entire two days on that deck. We enjoyed lunch at the Helm, a very nice restaurant quite close to the house, and breakfast at The Village Buzz-- I highly recommend both. Wow!!! What a great escape from the city. I woke up this morning and enjoyed a nice cup of joe on the deck over looking beautiful Greenwood Lake. I'm not sure how we lucked out but this place is actually on the lake!!! And is amazing. Another thing that makes this escape magical is the kitchen is fully ready so I can enjoy the comfort of cooking a fabulous meal. It feels like I'm at home but with a fabulous location that will revitalize me to go back to city life.

Where do I start... First off, the View!!! this gorgeous 3 bedroom top floor villa literally sits over greenwood lake! The breath taking views of the lake and mountains from the entire top floor are spectacular! From the moment you step into this Villa you immediately go into "vacation mode." This place is SPOTLESS! I am not one to just stay anywhere, due to the lack of cleanliness some places have but lets get one thing understood, this place is extremely clean and well taken care of. The beds in each of the 3 rooms are unbelievable, all equally as comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The dining room and living room are warm and comforting, they also have 2 sets of french doors that blow open onto a wrap around deck the length of the home. The full functioning kitchen is great

We spent a fantastic getaway for the family and I. As we are from NYC, it was truly amazing that within a short drive of downtown Manhattan, we found ourselves lakeside and smack in the middle of some truly gorgeous terrain. The location of Lakeside Escape couldn’t be better. With the living room and one of the bedrooms looking out directly over the lake, the view was clearly the star of our weekend. The home is also centrally located for all the area has to offer. In our case, the winter activities were easily accessible and close by. About 5 minutes away, there was tubing and skiing at Mount Peter. The surrounding area has some other great things to do as well. I stayed at Bryan's property with some of my friends from January 22nd to the 24th and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The place was easy to find and we got in with no problem. I would like to say that the pictures make the lake house look exactly as captured but that wouldn't do proper justice. Upon arrival and once we settled in, it become even better. The lake house is decorated minimally but in a relaxed and pleasant way, with eclectic pieces spread around the fireplace wall unit. We all overpacked and over-shopped for groceries, not knowing that Bryan would provide tons of essentials in the kitchen (oils, spices, sugars, coffee, etc.) and the bathroom (scrunchies, bath wash, towels, etc).
