The Nash Hotel

A great find! The room was huge, bathroom super-clean and very up-to-date with high-end fittings. The king bed was very comfortable. We had a room facing the street with a huge bay window (and there are also shades to darken the room if desired). Window AC unit kept the room cool on what was a very hot summer day. Breakfast is included and, in our case, we were the only guests so our "private chef" made whatever we wanted based on what they had. It was excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant during out stay. High quality and an eclectic selection. Bar tender was fun and fantastic! Jim is a wonderful host and has created a very special place for guests. Highly recommend if in the area.

Our recent stay at The Nash far exceeded expectations! We stayed in room 5 which was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. Great shower! Had a made to order delicious breakfast the next morning and Jim shared some history of the area with us. The only thing that could have made it better was if we’d been there on a night that their restaurant 204 Main was open for dinner. Will definitely stay again when we are in that part of upstate NY.

This is a beautiful, owner occupied boutique hotel in which I would happily stay again when in Sharon Springs NY visiting the Beekman 1802 Apothecary, Eileen Harcourt, or nearby Cooperstown. The king bed was comfortable, the shower was perfect pressure, not a draft from the windows,and the temp of the room was cozy. The restaurant in the hotel is seasonal but the owner brought us a carafe of fresh coffee every morning. The Fancy Farmer around the corner was delicious and local breakfast at the Black Cat Cafe was very tasty!

We've told everyone we know to come stay at The Nash. My husband and I booked their "smaller" room (it's not small) for 2 nights and ended up extending to 3. Fabulous decor, room is comfortable, very clean, well appointed. Comfy queen bed, beautiful linens, GREAT shower, air-conditioning. There's not a TV, but there is an iPad and we were there to see theater each night anyway. Room rate comes with a delicious made to order breakfast of all locally sourced ingredients (PS- book your dinner at the restaurant; best meal in the area). Jim is a delightful host and Norm is a fantastic chef. We will be back! Highly recommend.

I know this is listed as a bed and breakfast, but it has the feel of a modern, luxury hotel.||It is a unique spot, beautifully designed rooms, huge, open, airy, modern. A warm welcome from Jim, the owner, is just the beginning. These rooms are comfortable and||beautiful. A full breakfast is provided, and if you have time, (we did not) you MUST have dinner at the restaurant. I think this may be the best choice in the area.||The bar area is warm and friendly, with a brilliant choice of wines by the glass. Breakfast, includes eggs and bacon from "down the street", local goat cheese, and amazing coffee. Jim will accomodate most any special need, and is a wonderful, warm host. If you are lucky enough to book Room 3, which includes a huge living room and fully equipped kitchen, bring along some
